Jake Leahy Also Wants You to Run for Office

Last week, I spoke briefly about why more young people should run for office. I said, among others things, that in an age when complaining is on the rise, taking action and ushering in change is on the decline.

This week, I am excited to be talking with Jake Leahy (@LeahyIllinois), an 18-year-old elected official who decided to take action when he ran for his local school board earlier this year. We discussed about his motivation for running, the challenges he faced, and why he recommends that other young people do the same.
