Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s Sons Maddox And Pax Feuding?
Are brothers Maddox and Pax Jolie-Pitt feuding? One of this week’s new tabloids claims the two eldest children of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are “at each other’s throats,” but is there really a bitter sibling rivalry brewing? Gossip Cop looked into the alleged drama and we can exclusively set the record straight.
An article in the latest issue of the National Enquirer contends that 16-year-old Maddox and 13-year-old Pax have major issues with each other, and have been fighting nonstop lately. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Angelina is trying to keep the peace as much as possible. She thinks the boys are just being typical brothers and will get over it eventually, but things are getting worse.”
The outlet’s questionable insider continues, “Maddox was Angie’s first child and he thinks that gives him the upper hand. He’s become bossier than ever, and Pax has had enough.” The seemingly phony source adds, “Plus, Pax is taller and stronger than Maddox, who needs to be careful or he’ll have that smug smile knocked off his face!” Despite how dramatic this all sounds, Gossip Cop is told it’s completely inaccurate.
All siblings occasionally have disagreements, especially teenage boys, but the tabloid’s assertion that Maddox and Pax are engaged in a serious battle is entirely false. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the brothers are close and get along well. Any quarrels that may take place are just ordinary dustups between brothers, but there’s certainly no severe dispute between the two.
In fact, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to call out the Enquirer for publishing a bogus story surrounding the brothers. Gossip Cop previously busted the publication for wrongly reporting Pitt and Jolie could lose custody of Maddox and Pax because their biological parents wanted them back. We also recently debunked a phony report by the Enquirer’s sister outlet, OK!, which falsely claimed Jolie banned Maddox from dating. This latest article about the Pitt-Jolie boys is equally untrue.
