Jason Isbell, Father John Misty announce joint summer season tour


Feb. 12 (UPI) — Jason Isbell and Father John Misty are teaming up for a joint summer season tour.

Rolling Stone confirmed Tuesday that Isbell and his band, the 400 Unit, will tour the U.S. with Misty in June.

Isbell and Misty, born Josh Tillman, will play 18 reveals collectively throughout the U.S. The pair shall be joined by British singer Jade Fowl for almost all of the dates, with Erin Rae to open the ultimate three reveals.

“It is uncommon you get to share the stage along with your heroes however right here we go. I am supporting Father John Misty and @JasonIsbell on their Summer time Tour in June!!!!” Fowl tweeted Tuesday.

Isbell and Misty will kick off the tour June 6 in San Diego, Calif., and produce the enterprise to an in depth June 29 in Tulsa, Okla. Misty mentioned on his web site that tickets go on sale Friday, with pre-sale to start Wednesday.

Isbell got here to fame with the band Drive-By Truckers and launched his debut solo album, Sirens of the Ditch, in July 2007. He final launched the album The Nashville Sound in June 2017.

Misty is understood for such singles as “Hollywood Eternally Cemetery Sings,” “Bored within the USA,” “Whole Leisure Eternally” and “Mr. Tillman.” He launched the album God’s Favourite Buyer in June.
