21 Savage on his ICE arrest: ‘It was undoubtedly focused’
21 Savage, born She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, recalled how he was detained Feb. 3 in Atlanta, Ga. He stated he was driving when he was all of the sudden pulled over by ICE officers.
“I used to be simply driving. And I simply seen weapons and blue lights. And, then, I used to be at the back of a automobile. And I used to be gone,” the star stated.
The “A Lot” rapper stated ICE officers did not inform him he was underneath arrest or clarify why he was apprehended.
“They did not — they did not say nothing. They only stated, ‘We acquired Savage,'” the star recounted.
“It was undoubtedly focused. There was helicopters,” he added, later clarifying there was one helicopter current.

21 Savage was launched on bond from ICE custody Wednesday. He stated he is resigned to the potential for being deported.
