Jason Priestley mourns demise of ‘expensive buddy’ Luke Perry

March 8 (UPI) — Jason Priestley wrote on Instagram that he struggled to seek out the suitable phrases to precise his grief over this week’s demise of Luke Perry, his former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star.
“My expensive buddy of 29 years, Luke Perry, was a kind of actually particular individuals who actually cared,” Priestley wrote.
He added: “Luke was not solely a star, he was an extremely vivid mild that was extinguished far too quickly… and that’s the reason I, and so many others, are in a lot ache at this time… If you happen to had the great fortune to know Luke, or to have ever crossed his path, I do know you might be unhappy at this time as nicely… the candle that burns twice as vivid solely burns for half as lengthy… you burned oh, so brightly Luke… Goodnight Candy Prince.”
The message accompanied pictures of the actors posing fortunately collectively lately and of their 90210 heyday.
Perry died Monday after struggling a large stroke final week. He was 52 and dealing on The CW drama Riverdale on the time of his demise.
