President Donald Trump’s newest White House press secretary — the third to tackle the job in 32 months — has two arrests in her past for driving under the influence.
Stephanie Grisham was pulled over in Arizona once in 2013 and again in 2015 for drunk driving, according to the New York Daily News — and yes, there are mugshots.
When Grisham was stopped by police outside Phoenix in 2013, her willingness to lie was already on display. The future press secretary, who was driving on a suspended license, told the cops she had not been drinking but subsequently blew a .105 during her breathalyzer test.
Grisham reportedly told police she had taken a Xanax earlier in the day but insisted she had not been drinking.
Grisham pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of reckless driving, the Daily News reported.
And then she pleaded guilty again in 2015, after police pulled her over in 2015 for drunk driving, earning herself mandatory enrollment in a treatment plan.
Grisham follows former White House press secretaries Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders — both of whom also showed a propensity for stretching the truth.
