One of the most intriguing projects coming to Netflix in the remainder of 2019 is the recently announced “The I-Land,” which looks to be a mind-bending mix of “Lost,” The Ruins and The Cabin in the Woods. Kate Bosworth and Natalie Martinez star in “The I-Land,” an all-new series debuting Thursday, September 12. Once you arrive, you’ll never leave.

In the mysterious new event series, “When ten people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they set off on a trek to try to get back home. They soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the I-Land’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves — or die as their worst ones.”
Alex Pettyfer, Ronald Peet, Kyle Schmid, Kota Eberhardt, Sibylla Deen, Anthonly Lee Medina, Gilles Geary and Michele Veintimilla also star.
All seven episodes will be available on September 12.
