[Trailer] Zombie Comedy 'Little Monsters' Starring Lupita Nyong’o Debuts on Hulu in October!

Director Abe Forsythe‘s zombie-comedy Little Monsters (read our review) was a huge hit at Sundance earlier this year, with NEON and Hulu scoring the rights shortly thereafter. We’ve learned today that the film will first arrive in theaters here in the United States for a one-night-only event on October 8 and then begin streaming on Hulu on October 11!

Stars Lupita Nyong’o and Alexander England, along with Forsythe, will take part in a live-stream Q&A for the one-night release. Grab your tickets here.

Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast) also stars. Check out Hulu’s Red Band trailer below!

Little Monsters follows Dave (England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a serious liking to the fearless schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kids’ show personality and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Gad). One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak. Will Dave rise to the occasion and have a chance at Miss Caroline’s heart, or will the zombies get there first?”

The movie is produced by Keith and Jess Wu Calder’s Snoot Entertainment (You’re Next, The Guest, Blair Witch) and Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories.
