As we reported last night, Dan Aykroyd has finally confirmed that he’ll be appearing in Jason Reitman‘s Ghostbusters 2020, while also teasing that *most* of the stars from the original film will be back. Looks like that includes Ernie Hudson, who just filmed a video for a fan over on Cameo that confirms he’ll be reprising the role of Winston Zeddemore in the new movie!
“We’re shooting the new Ghostbusters right now,” Hudson says in the video. “I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy it as much as the other movies we’ve done. I know I’m having a blast doing them.”
Bill Murray‘s involvement has not yet been confirmed. Stay tuned.
The new film, a sequel to the original classic, centers on a family that moves back home to a small town where they learn more about who they are.
The cast also includes Sigourney Weaver, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Carrie Coon, Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim.
Ghostbusters will return to theaters on July 10, 2020.
