Deborah Ramirez came forward last year during then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings to allege that during their time at Yale University, the now-justice sexually assaulted her during a college party.
Though the FBI included her allegation in its investigation and ultimately could not substantiate the claim, a recent New York Times report indicates that the agency failed to interview numerous individuals who may have been able to corroborate Ramirez’s account.
But regardless of whether her accusation is true, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade is not convinced the assault — which she says involved Kavanaugh thrusting his genitals into her face — was significant enough to affect Ramirez’s life.
During a conversation on the show Wednesday morning, Kilmeade discussed The Times’ reporting on a separate accusation against Kavanaugh, made public just days ago.
After co-host Ainsley Earhardt brought up Ramirez’s name, Kilmeade remarked: “She’s a valedictorian who ended up at Yale. Things could be worse.”
