The survey found that Trump “is more personally disliked than any of his recent predecessors,” with 69 percent of registered voters saying regardless of how they feel about his policy agenda, they dislike Trump on a personal level.
What’s more, a record 50 percent of American voters say they dislike Trump personally and dislike his policies, NBC News reported. Nineteen percent said they dislike the president personally but approve of his policy agenda.
Less than a third of voters said they like Trump personally, at just 29 percent.
By comparison with his predecessors, Trump is hands down the most personally disliked president in recent times: “Majorities of voters said they personally liked Obama, Clinton, George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan, even though they might disagree vigorously with their political agenda.”
