Buffalo Wild Wings manager's memorial fund tops $65,000

The memorial fund for the Buffalo Wild Wings general manager who died Thursday in Burlington had already topped $65,000 by Sunday afternoon, according to a GoFundMe page for the 32-year-old’s wife and newborn son.

Ryan Baldera, of Lawrence, died after inhaling a lethal mix of cleaning agent fumes Thursday. He had tried to clean up the bubbling mess after it sickened one of his workers, according to authorities.

By 6 p.m. on Sunday, The “Ryan Baldera Memorial Fund” totaled $66,420 from more than 1,300 donors.

“Ryan’s wife, son, family and friends are so overwhelmingly humbled and heartened by the outpouring of support the community, customers, friends and family have been in their generosity during this tremendously difficult time,” states an update on the GoFundMe page. “There is no amount of money that will ever be able to replace an hour of time with Ryan.
