Final Trailer for the Guillermo del Toro-Produced 'Antlers' Unleashes a Diabolical Man-Eating Monster

“We found part of a man in the woods today.”

Based on the short story “The Quiet Boy” by Nick Antosca (“Channel Zero”), director Scott Cooper‘s new horror film Antlers is releasing on April 17, 2020, and the new trailer is here.

As we had hoped, this trailer continues to keep the movie’s Wendigo-like monster shrouded in darkness, allowing the film to retain a creepy air of mystery. We get only tiny glimpses at what looks to be a truly terrifying monster, and we can’t wait for the full reveal in April.

Whet your appetite with Fox Searchlight’s (spoiler-free!) final trailer below.

In Antlers, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, become entwined with a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.

Graham GreeneScott HazeRory Cochrane and Amy Madigan also star.

The film is written by Henry Chaisson and Nick Antosca, with revisions by Scott Cooper.
